Violent clashes in the Tigray region of Ethiopia have caused a humanitarian emergency. Fearing for their lives and the safety of their families, thousands of children, women and men have been forced to flee to Sudan. More than 53,000 refugees have already arrived in Sudan exhausted and scared and are currently being registered in transit centers near the border.

UNHCR is on the ground in Sudan and around the world aiding refugees in need, but resources are stretched thin.
